As a lifestyle photographer, and a mother, I tend to take a lot of photos of my kids. I’ love looking back, sharing online, and creating things like photo books. I love documenting the ordinary, and loving the little years. Sometimes I get so used to #documentordinary that I lose creativity in CREATING artful photographs. So, that’s what this was. Our daughter was facetiming with her Zia when she was showing her everybody’s floaties. She climbed in them, and it was funny with the umbrella on top. Then she wanted to play in it that way, so I said she could take them down to the soft yard to hide out in her new cupcake-esque fort. Lots of fun memories, and now I have a couple bright and colorful pieces of art to remember this sweet moment by!
