This was one of my favorite winter weddings! The couple was so in love, and it was a short engagement, with spontaneous touches to make the ceremony and portraits stand out. A Beautiful Winter Wedding with simple decor: Inspired by greens and berries, gold rings and white leather boots and a jacket. This bride chose just the right amount of layers, colors and textures to naturally dress for a Minnesota Winter Wedding. A classic and traditional winter wedding in Bemidji, MN

The bride chose an absolutely perfect dress veiled in dainty lacy soft pink flowers. And, check out that Wedding Hair! SO perfect.

Beautiful Fall Wedding | October in Minnesota Russian Orthodox Wedding Photographer
We met up in the freezing rain at Itasca State Park to take the wedding photos for this beautiful bride & groom.
The weather was pretty predictable for a fall wedding in MN, and didn’t pose a threat at all to these brave Minnesotans!
I hope you enjoy the photographs that capture just a sliver of the love these two sweethearts have for each other.
Her dimple radiates joy, and the way he gazes at her proves he is absolutely smitten…
I hope you enjoyed looking through these as much as I enjoyed taking them!

These two!!! Adorable, precious, tender, and loving. It was so so so fun to watch these twin sisters work together throughout the whole wedding day! They were darling!
Hooray! The first photos as Mr. and Mrs. are the BEST! | MN Wedding Photography
THIS! A photo can capture the best of all the feelings of your wedding day, and what all that (sometimes grueling) work of preparing for it is for. It takes months and months of countless hours toiling away with wedding plans, decisions, plan Bs… and then, Boom! You’re married. You have become one with your soulmate and boy, does it feel good! It’s all official, the logistics are taken care of, and now it’s time to really celebrate! These are the moments that you want to remember forever.
This picture of the bride and groom seems to capture that hoo-rah camaraderie with friends and family that, “yes, we are in this for the long haul.”

I love the colors: Light tan and khaki tones with white, navy, and green. Accents of sunflowers and turkey feathers.
Kristi + Colbey Wedding Sneak Peek | Bemidji Wedding Photography at Library Park and St. Philips Catholic Church
Colbey and Kristi were married on the last August weekend in Bemidji, Minnesota. Outdoor wedding weather is never guaranteed to be perfect, and it really shouldn’t put a damper on too much! Thankfully, this sweet couple was all prepared with several umbrellas, and high spirits. The rain that came was a misty, wet shower. It didn’t pour, but was very wet! Thankfully, Kristi still wanted to meet Colbey in the park for their first time seeing each other on their wedding day. HELLO, SWEET!!!
After Colbey cried at the sight of his beautiful bride and they giggled a little bit when thinking about the fact that this big day is finally here, we did portraits outside. Family and the Bridal Party. It went great, and with all the little kids running around with umbrellas, nobody even had their eye poked out 😉
Then, we all went back to the church for their wedding. Hip, Hip, Hooray!
This August wedding was rained out in precipitation, and flooded with joy! 😉 I’m Cheesy, I know!
Z + A Carlson Wedding, Ruttger’s Birchmont Lodge, Bemidji Town & Country Club | MN Wedding Photographer
Z + A had an absolutely beautiful day for their wedding. With a quick passing thunderstorm, the showers brought a beautiful rainbow out to encourage them to wait out the sprinkles and say their I Do’s just they way they had planned them! They were married under the pergola at Ruttger’s as the sun glistened around them. Then we all rode across Lake Bemidji on the pontoon, for a fabulous bridal party excursion before the reception. They arrived in the sunset glow to their reception at Bemidji Town & Country Club. It was decorated splendidly and everything tied together so lovingly with their themes of love and togetherness. DQ Dilly bars topped the dinner off and the dance (led by Jamie with Extreme DJ and Karaoke Bemidji) rocked away all night!
Here is a sneak peek at this super fun day for the Carlsons!
#OhHappyDayZandA was the tag for the new Mr. & Mrs. <3
CONGRATULATIONS, to this dear couple!
I am so grateful I was able to be there for such a sweet wedding day.

Simon Wedding | Mahnomen, MN Wedding Photography. Northern Minnesota countryside home, Lutheran Church and Shooting Star Casino
Congratulations to the blessed Jake & Allena on their wedding! What a sweet, kind and caring couple. These two have some absolutely adorable kids, and I wish the best for them, and pray that their marriage is rich in love and always gaining understanding for their whole life. This sweet little Simon family was married on a cool and blustery October day in Mahnomen, MN. It was special that they all got ready–a big bridal party and all– at their home out in the curving and hilly countryside, before heading into the quaint church in Mahnomen. When they had their wedding ceremony, sweet little sister was carried to the front of the church by her two cousins, and then big brother actually walked his momma up the aisle. He was crying the whole time because he wanted daddy… But what a sweet picture of family it was. The new couple held their children during the ceremony, and the four of them shared a time of unifying themselves with the sand as a symbol of the four of them blending together permanently.
